Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Cut them into bite-sized cubes that are roughly the same size so they cook evenly.
  2. Transfer the chicken pieces to a large mixing bowl.

Step 2: Season

  1. Add the olive oil, paprika, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix thoroughly until every piece of chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 10–15 minutes. If you have extra time, marinating for an hour will produce even better flavor.

Step 3: Preheat the Grill

  1. Heat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Step 4: Grill the Chicken

  1. Place the chicken bites on the hot grill.
  2. Cook for approximately 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Turn occasionally to ensure all sides develop beautiful grill marks.
  4. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove the chicken and let it rest while preparing the sauce.

Notes

Store leftover chicken and sauce separately in airtight containers. Refrigerate for up to 4 days. Freeze the grilled chicken for up to 2 months. The cream sauce is best enjoyed fresh, as freezing may affect its texture.
