For the Bites
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup granulated sugar, for coating
- 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
Optional Additions
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla cinnamon sugar
- ¼ cup finely chopped pecans
- A light dusting of powdered sugar for serving

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oven
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) .

Step 2: Make the Cream Cheese Filling
- Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add:
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Beat everything together until smooth and creamy.
- The filling should be soft enough to spread but thick enough to stay inside the dough.
Step 3: Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar
- In a small bowl, combine: Herbs & Spices
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
- Mix thoroughly.

Step 4: Prepare the Dough
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- If desired, gently press the seams together so that the dough forms a smoother surface. Desserts

Step 5: Add the Cream Cheese
- Place a small spoonful of cream cheese filling in the center of each piece of dough. Dairy & Eggs
- Be careful not to overfill them. Too much filling can escape while baking.
- Fold and roll the dough around the filling, sealing the edges as much as possible.
