Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Slice a ripe banana into chunks and freeze for several hours or overnight.
  2. Place the frozen banana, almond milk, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, sweetener (if using), and ice cubes into a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until completely smooth, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. Adjust consistency by adding a splash of almond milk if too thick, or extra ice/frozen banana if too thin, until thick enough to eat with a spoon.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass or bowl and serve immediately.
