These 3-Ingredient Baked Cranberry Brie Bites are small, individual appetizers made with flaky pastry, creamy Brie cheese, and cranberry sauce. The pastry turns golden and crisp, the cheese melts into a soft center, and the cranberry topping adds a sweet-tart contrast. Perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas parties, or any holiday gathering.
Equipment
- Mini muffin pan
- Cutting board
- Sharp knife
- Measuring spoon
- Small spoon
- Pastry brush (optional)
- Small spatula
Ingredients
- 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry, about 8 ounces
- 8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (whole-berry or smooth)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into sections, or cut puff pastry into approximately 24 small squares. Gently press each piece into a muffin cup without stretching the dough too thin.
- Cut the Brie into small cubes, roughly 1/2 inch in size, and place one cube into each pastry cup.
- Add about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over each piece of Brie, being careful not to overfill the cups.
- Bake for approximately 10–15 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden and the Brie is soft and melted.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let the bites rest for about 5 minutes to allow the cheese to settle.
- Carefully lift the bites from the pan using a small spatula and arrange them on a serving platter to serve warm.
Notes
Keep the pastry cold for a flakier result. Do not overfill the cups to prevent spilling. You can add optional toppings like chopped pecans, rosemary, orange zest, honey, or red pepper flakes. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days and reheated in a 325°F (165°C) oven for 5–8 minutes.
