A creamy salad featuring elbow macaroni, diced ham, and cheddar cheese, tossed with a dressing of mayonnaise, sour cream, and Dijon mustard.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 1½ cups cheddar cheese, cubed
  • ½ cup red onion, finely diced
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • ½ cup sweet pickles or relish
  • ½ cup frozen peas (thawed)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni according to package directions until tender. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add cooled macaroni to the bowl. Stir in diced ham, cheddar cheese, onion, celery, pickles, and peas. Toss everything until evenly coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Stir before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
