Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Bread

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) .
  2. Place the bread loaf on a cutting board. Using a sharp bread knife, cut diagonal slices across the loaf about 1 inch apart. Be careful not to cut all the way through the bottom.
  3. Rotate the loaf and make another set of diagonal cuts to create a crisscross pattern. This will create pockets where the filling can be inserted.
  4. Set aside while preparing the cheese mixture.

Step 2: Make the Cheesy Corn Filling

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine:
  2. Mozzarella cheese
  3. Cheddar cheese
  4. Corn kernels
  5. Mayonnaise
  6. Cream cheese
  7. Green onions
  8. Parsley
  9. Paprika
  10. Salt
  11. Black pepper
  12. Chili flakes (if using)
  13. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  14. The cream cheese and mayonnaise help create a creamy filling that melts beautifully inside the bread.

Step 3: Prepare Garlic Butter

  1. In a small bowl, combine:
  2. Melted butter
  3. Minced garlic
  4. Stir well.
  5. Brush half of the garlic butter into the cuts of the bread, ensuring it reaches deep into the crevices. This step adds flavor and helps the bread stay moist while baking.

Step 4: Stuff the Bread

  1. Using a spoon or your fingers, carefully stuff the cheese and corn mixture into every opening of the bread.
  2. Take your time to distribute the filling evenly throughout the loaf. Make sure each section contains a generous amount of cheese and corn for maximum flavor.
  3. Once stuffed, drizzle or brush the remaining garlic butter over the top of the bread.

Step 5: Wrap and Bake

  1. Place the stuffed loaf onto a baking tray.
  2. Wrap loosely with aluminum foil.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes .
  4. After 15 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes , or until:
  5. Cheese is melted
  6. Top becomes golden brown
  7. Bread edges are slightly crispy
  8. Keep an eye on the bread during the final baking stage to prevent over-browning.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

  1. Remove the bread from the oven.
  2. Allow it to cool for about 3 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with:
  4. Fresh parsley
  5. Chopped green onions
  6. Optional Parmesan cheese
  7. Serve immediately while the cheese is hot and stretchy.
  8. Guests can simply pull apart individual pieces and enjoy.
