Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

  1. Wash the lemon thoroughly and slice it into thin rounds. Peel the ginger if desired, then slice it as thinly as possible to help release its flavor. Rinse the mint leaves and cucumber if using.

Step 2: Assemble the Infusion

  1. Place the lemon slices, ginger slices, mint leaves, and cucumber slices into a clean glass pitcher.

Step 3: Add the Water

  1. Pour the cold filtered water into the pitcher, making sure all the ingredients are submerged.

Step 4: Stir Gently

  1. Use a long spoon to gently stir the ingredients so the flavors begin to distribute throughout the water.

Step 5: Chill and Infuse

  1. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for 1–2 hours . For a stronger flavor, let it infuse for up to 8 hours . If you prefer a milder taste, remove the lemon slices after a few hours to reduce bitterness.

Step 6: Serve

  1. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the infused water over the ice. Garnish with additional lemon slices or fresh mint sprigs if desired.
  2. Enjoy chilled throughout the day.
