Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Mix gently until just combined. Overmixing can make the meatloaf dense.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan or on the baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together the glaze ingredients.
  6. Spread about half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Spread the remaining glaze over the top and continue baking for 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  9. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This helps the juices redistribute.

Notes

Tips: For extra moisture, substitute half of the ground beef with ground pork. Add a handful of shredded cheddar cheese to the meat mixture for a cheesy variation. Leftover slices make excellent sandwiches the next day. Storage: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Freeze individual slices tightly wrapped for up to 3 months. Reheat in a 325°F (165°C) oven or microwave until heated through. Serving Suggestions: Pair with creamy mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, roasted carrots, buttered corn, or a crisp green salad.
