Equipment
- Non-Stick Skillet or Cast Iron: Ensures uniform heat distribution and a deep golden crust without sticking.
- Potato Masher or Ricer: Produces a smooth, lump-free potato mash that holds together tightly.
- Baking Sheet & Parchment Paper: Essential for pre-chilling patties in the refrigerator so they retain their shape during pan-frying.
- Mixing Bowl & Wooden Spoon: Makes combining the high-protein meat filling and potato dough clean and effortless.

Instructions
- Prepare the Meat Filling: Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat . Add diced onions and cook for 3 minutes until translucent. Add ground turkey/chicken, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes , breaking it into fine crumbles until browned and no longer pink. Stir in cilantro, remove from heat, and cool completely.
- Make the Potato-Cauliflower Base: In a large bowl, combine cooled mashed potatoes, drained mashed cauliflower, low-carb flour binder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until a workable, smooth dough forms.
- Shape and Stuff Patties: Divide the potato dough into 8 equal portions. Flatten a portion into a disk in the palm of your hand, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of the high-protein filling in the center, fold the edges over, and seal gently to form a flat patty. Repeat for all portions.
- Chill for Stability: Arrange stuffed patties on a parchment-lined tray and chill in the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes to firm up.
- Pan-Sear to Perfection: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat with a light brush of olive oil. Pan-sear patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side until deeply golden brown and crisp. Serve warm with greek yogurt dip or chutney!
