Instructions

  1. Place cocoa powder in a small bowl, add approximately two tablespoons of the measured milk, and mix thoroughly until the cocoa dissolves into a smooth paste. Set aside.
  2. Place instant coffee granules in a small cup, add one tablespoon of warm water, and stir until dissolved. Allow to cool.
  3. Pour heavy cream and the remaining milk into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Whisk gently until evenly combined.
  4. Pour sweetened condensed milk into the bowl and whisk slowly until completely incorporated.
  5. Add the prepared cocoa paste to the cream mixture and whisk thoroughly until uniform. Add chocolate syrup if using.
  6. Pour the cooled coffee mixture into the bowl and whisk gently until incorporated.
  7. Add vanilla extract, caramel sauce, and a small pinch of salt. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a blender and blend on low speed for approximately 15–20 seconds, or whisk until smooth and uniform.
  9. Check the consistency. If too thick, add one tablespoon of milk at a time until desired texture is reached.
  10. Pour the finished mixture into a clean, airtight container or bottle and refrigerate for at least two hours.
  11. Serve chilled in a small glass, or add to coffee, hot chocolate, milkshakes, or desserts.
