Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Oven and Pan

  1. Preheat your oven to $350^\circ\text{F}$ ( $175^\circ\text{C}$ ).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a round 9-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Mix the Honey-Cinnamon Filling

  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, 3 tablespoons of honey, ground cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Mix vigorously with a spatula or fork until a smooth, spreadable paste forms.

Step 3: Roll Out and Assemble

  1. Unroll your crescent sheet dough onto a cutting board or clean surface. Press any perforations together to form one smooth rectangle.
  2. Evenly spread the honey-cinnamon paste across the entire surface of the dough, leaving a 1/4-inch border along the edges.
  3. Starting from the longer edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  4. Using a sharp knife or a piece of unflavored dental floss, slice the log into 12 equal pinwheels.

Step 4: Bake to Perfection

  1. Arrange the roll-ups cut-side up on your prepared baking sheet or in your baking dish, leaving a small gap between each.
  2. Bake at $350^\circ\text{F}$ ( $175^\circ\text{C}$ ) for 12 to 15 minutes , or until the tops are golden brown and the honey filling is bubbling slightly.

Step 5: Glaze and Serve

  1. While the roll-ups bake, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, 1 tablespoon of honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Remove the roll-ups from the oven and allow them to cool for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Drizzle the warm glaze generously over the roll-ups and serve immediately.
