Ingredients

For 1 large serving

  • 1 cup (240 ml) hot water
  • ½ fresh lemon
  • 1–2 inches (2.5–5 cm) fresh ginger root
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey, optional

  • 2–3 fresh mint leaves, optional
  • A thin lemon slice for garnish
  • Tiny pinch of turmeric, optional

For a larger batch

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 large lemon
  • 3–4 inches fresh ginger
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey, according to taste
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • A handful of fresh mint

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Ginger
