Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry using paper towels and cut into evenly sized bite-sized pieces. Place in a large mixing bowl.
- Add olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne (if using). Mix thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated. Allow to marinate for 15 minutes if time permits.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the outside is golden.
- While the chicken cooks, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Stir lemon juice, fresh parsley, and a pinch of salt into the butter. Remove from heat.
- Transfer cooked chicken to a large bowl and pour the garlic butter over it. Gently toss until every bite is coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.

Notes
Cut chicken into uniform pieces for even cooking and avoid overcrowding the basket. Let the chicken rest for 2 minutes before serving to retain juices. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 3–4 minutes to preserve crispiness.
