Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, ginger, and sriracha. Reserve one-third of the glaze for serving.
  4. Place salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket and cook at 200°C for 4 minutes.
  5. Open the basket, brush the salmon generously with the glaze, and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  6. Remove salmon when it flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 60°C (140°F). Let rest for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Drizzle with reserved glaze, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use center-cut fillets of even thickness to ensure uniform cooking. If the air fryer runs hot, lower the temperature to 190°C (380°F) during the final glazing minutes to prevent the maple syrup from burning. Pairs well with garlic butter asparagus, roasted broccoli, or jasmine rice.
