Instructions
- Ensure proper ventilation by opening a window and wear rubber gloves.
- Perform a patch test in an unnoticeable area to check for unwanted reactions with the floor material.
- Method 1 (Lemon Juice): Scrub grout lines with a slice of lemon, then scrub with a green Scotch-Brite pad. Rinse with a damp paper towel and remove leftover pulp.
- Method 2 (OxiClean): Mix OxiClean with water in a 1-to-1 ratio to form a runny paste. Apply to grout with an old spoon, stirring constantly to prevent separation. Let rest for 5-10 minutes, scrub with a Scotch-Brite pad, and rinse immediately with water followed by thorough mopping to remove white residue.
- Method 3 (Sulfamic Acid): Mix sulfamic acid cleaner with warm water according to container instructions. Spoon mixture onto grout, allowing it to fizz and bubble. Scrub with a Scotch-Brite pad and allow to dry.

Notes
OxiClean was found to be the most effective method, though it leaves a white residue requiring immediate rinsing. Lemon juice is a good organic alternative. Sulfamic acid cleaner may cause grout to appear darker when wet but looks cleaner when dry.
