  • 2 tbsp vegan butter or regular butter , melted
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional, to balance heat)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Cauliflower Batter

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) . Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour , milk , garlic powder , onion powder , paprika , salt , and pepper into a smooth batter.
  3. Toss the cauliflower florets into the batter, coating well. Shake off any excess.

Step 2: Bake the Cauliflower

  1. Place the coated florets on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Bake for 20–25 minutes , flipping halfway through, until golden and slightly crispy.

Step 3: Toss in Buffalo Sauce

  1. While cauliflower bakes, mix buffalo sauce , melted butter , and maple syrup (if using) in a bowl.
  2. Once the cauliflower is baked, remove from oven and gently toss with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.

Step 4: Crisp It Up (Optional)

  1. Return to oven for another 5–10 minutes to set the sauce and enhance crispiness.
